Strict Curator Selection
All curators are carefully screened and monitored for at least 1 month before being included in our network. We don't accept small curators without a proven track record, though we do accept smaller second accounts of large curators.
Ongoing Monitoring
We actively check for botted playlists, engagement levels, and suspicious listener behavior to protect your interests. We can guarantee no bots, no fake streams, and no suspicious listener behavior. All listeners come from META advertisements, organic social media posts, or influencer campaigns.

A Spotify playlist curator is a person that owns one or more curated playlists on Spotify and selects music for that playlist. The curators on PlaylistsForYou must have highly active Spotify playlists, with a large following of active listeners. Curated music playlists often specialize in specific genres, moods, energy-levels, or are sometimes built around specific listener communities (e.g. new rap artists 2026). Independent playlist curators play an important role in the music discovery of starting artists, often because playlisting is an efficient primary route for independent artists to be introduced to a broad audience.

How to spot good and bad Spotify Playlists (or Services)
The three elements most important for a playlist promotion campaign are knowing if a playlist has good engagement, is bot-free, and that it doesn't provide "fake" streams. Here's a quick explanation of how you can check (our) playlist quality.
Engagement
Track a playlist historically and check for steady, increasing follower count. If a playlist isn't growing, few new listeners are discovering it. A great tell of playlist activity is the "discovered on" section on smaller independent artists' Spotify pages - you can check this manually. Watch out for curators who grow only through daily "follow-for-follow" trades rather than genuine listener growth.
Botted Followers
Look at the historic graph of playlist follower increases. A big spike in new followers within a single day is a red flag. Slow and steady growth is a good sign - even Instagram-promoted playlists shouldn't jump thousands of followers in one day and none the next. Tools like artist.tools can help.
Fake Streams
Check your Spotify for Artists page. If all streams come from one country or city, it's likely botted. Streams from multiple countries and cities usually mean the playlist is safe. Still, if your song gets no saves, likes, or new followers from a playlist with 100s of listeners a month, do some additional investigation - though it may also just be a poor genre fit.

What does the curator's acceptance rate mean?+
The profiles display a sample of 11 independent Spotify music curators from the PlaylistsForYou network. On top of their profile, we display their average acceptance rate, using the highest and lowest acceptance rate of individual playlists. This is static data and we will update it if there is a big divergence, or once we can automatically source this number real-time. The acceptance rate shown represents the number of submissions a curator approves divided by the amount of submissions received. A lower acceptance rate does not necessarily indicate a bad curator - some highly active playlists only accept songs that get very strong results. Likewise, a higher acceptance rate does not guarantee placement, as every submission is reviewed individually.
What does the curator's response time mean?+
Once we receive your order, we make sure to have your campaign results within 5 days. On average, it takes one day before the song starts the pitching process with the most suitable curators. Once the pitch starts, you can see real-time updates in our Artist Dashboard. The curator response time shows how quickly a curator responds to a received pitch.
Do curators review every song manually?+
Just like the Artist Dashboard, we have a Curator Dashboard. After our Pitching Expert listens to a song, it is automatically shared with the relevant curators. They give their responses in the dashboard, and updates are automatically displayed in the Artist Dashboard once an Accept or Decline is given. Every song is listened to fully (or 180 seconds) by our curators before a response is sent.
Can a song be sent to multiple playlists of the same curator?+
Yes, it is possible that a song is shared to multiple playlists of the same curator. Our aim is to have songs reviewed by a variety of curators, but sometimes a curator hosts multiple playlists that really fit a song's style. Our primary aim is to get your song the strongest possible results.
What happens when a playlist becomes inactive?+
Playlists sometimes decline over time, or a curator might stop running META ads if a playlist is not working as hoped. We actively monitor the playlists in our network to ensure high curator quality. If a playlist doesn't match our minimal playlist growth requirements, we stop pitching new artists to that playlist.
