We're still a relatively new company, and what better way to introduce ourselves to independent artists than by giving something to the community? Instead of spending our entire marketing budget on Meta and Google ads, we'd rather invest directly into artists. We're a company started by artists, for artists. That is why we're putting $120 per month into advertising our community playlist, to also help the artists with a more limited budget reach new listeners. We want the playlist to feature music that genuinely fits the overall style. That's where you come in! By listening to community submissions and voting for your favorites, you help keep the playlist relevant for its listeners. Your vote matters!
How to submit to a PFY playlist for free
- You can submit one song for free. Choose your favorite track based on what you think is the best fit with our community playlist. Feel free to listen to the playlist first to increase your odds.
- Review three submitted community tracks. Listen to other independent artists and vote for your favorite song(s). The songs with a good approval rate (3 upvotes) get added to our community playlist for at least 1 week.
- Spin the reward wheel. If you leave enough reviews, you can earn additional bonuses. These include a guest blogpost, addition into our artist directory and much more. Additional free opportunities for exposure, even if your song does not get added into our community playlist. Being a teamplayer is rewarded.
